Whatwasthatbook

Hey peeps, just wanted to give props to this community - whatwasthatbook. There have been several stumpers on there and thought you guys would like to take a crack at some of them.

My own stumper from a long time ago still hasn't been solved - I've used up all my powers of deduction. Last week I contacted my junior high library in hopes that it still might be in the collection (my junior high had encyclopedia sets from the 60s and 70s when I was there in the 90s, so who knows sometimes!).

Took your excellent advice, posted a puzzler, and had the book in about 5 minutes!

High five!

I do my best to solve some of them, but it's surprisingly hard sometimes. I found something called Stump the Bookseller and paid $4 to see if they can help me find my book :-)

I think I remember that. Wasn't it simply called Castle or something like that?

Oh, I think I know the book too - are you thinking of Cathedral and other books by David Macaulay? My mystery book has more than one project in it :-)
